Well guys I got the 7.5 rear end out last night, I had to cut the two lower rear control arm bolts because they were froze in the bushing. I will go get new bushings and bolts today. I also noticed that some one has cut the coil springs to lower the car and I like the way it sets & looks but it will beat you to death when riding on ruff roads. I am thinking about get new lowering spring for a V6 may it will ride better then. I will be cleaning up the control arms and the disk brake assembly along with the dust shields so I can get it ready to go back together with the 8.8 and 373 gears.

I got the 8.8 rear end all cleaned up along with the upper and lower control arms and all the brake parts. I installed it a couple days ago with new brake pads and hard ware and took it for a short drive. I like the way it drives and the way it feels, make the little supercharged 3.8 feel pretty good. Now I have to get the speed o where it is showing the correct mph.

I am trying to get some pictures of the car and the engine on here soon. All I have rite now is taken with my phone and I have to transfer them to my computer then I will post them.

It runs pretty good for what it is. I use to have a 93 mustang with a factory stock 5.0 and a vortex supercharger on it along with a aod trans stock converter and 3.73 gears. I think that this v6 runs about as good as the 93 did up to about 4300 rpm after that the 5.0 was little stronger. I know that there is a lot left in this car but I have to do things a little at a time do to been on a fixed income do to my health but I still like tinkering with it. Now if I could just get the tach working right, it seam to read what ever it wants to. It will go up to about 2300/2500 and stick there and then just fall back to 1800 and starting working for a few min then mess up again. I tried changing out the cam sensor but made no change it kind of act like a bad tach but not sure.

Thanks for the pics too.
I've had the itch to put a supercoupe motor in my 66 stang. Mainly due to it being a 6er origionaly. and I've never seen it done.

It was a direct bolt in as far a fit used the mustang mounts and wiring use the 92 super coupe flywheel and I used the super coupe rad. but you don't have to if you run front mount inter cooler. I used a 92 low mileage engine but any year will work.
