Thats amazing!

It still hard to believe how many cars are shipped overseas. Europeans love American cars. All my relatives in Italy drive Cadillacs when 5 & 6 series Mercedes are cheaper.

Just saw this photo on Facebook. My car is now in between an original Saleen Fox and a 2001 Bullitt

That's got to feel awesome. All the hard work on your car seems to have paid off very well and now other people get to enjoy your work when they visit the museum while it is there!

Let me know when you're over here again! When you know where to look, you can find some Mustangs.

In the 60s the Ford factory in Amsterdam even assembled Mustangs, the N-code Mustangs.

That would be awesome! Thank you.

Congrats on the honor. Love the way they showed the progression from Fox body to latest gen in order. Would love to have that Saleen myself!

They are showing the entire history of the Mustang. At the entrance, there's a 1965 and a 2012 BOSS 302, both red. Than there's two lines of Mustangs, from old to new. It starts with a 1964,5, then on to 1968, including a 1968 Shelby, a 1970 Mach1, 1972, 1973, a Mustang II, two Foxes including the Saleen, my 98, a 2001 Bullitt and a 2007 Shelby GT-H.

It's a really nice line-up.

So I will be headed to Grubbenvorst Dec 2, and returning to the states Dec 12th. Sounds like we have plenty of work, but hope to have some time off......Any places you would recommend to see? Could catch up?

I went to the museum last Sunday with my dad. Pretty weird to see my own car up there. Also weird that I wasn't allowed to come close to, or touch, my own car.

Also, it seems they will extend the exhibition until beginning next year. It does mean I have to miss my car a while longer, on the other hand it's parked safely...

Some other pics from the museum:

The earliest Fords...
Of the first FORD-car, only two were made. One was lost, one is in Ford's Museum in Detroit. In the Netherlands is the only full-size replica in the world.
The A-model Ford is truely unique: even Ford itself does not own this model. They have offered several times to buy it, but they don't want to sell. It's the one on the right.

When the museum opened in 2000, they sent some pictures to Ford Headquarters. They replied "congratulations on your nice collection of model cars". They couldn't believe they were real cars. Ford people had to fly over and see for themselves before they could believe it. They were quite offended the museum was bigger than the one in Detroit, and that the largest collection of Ford vehicles was in the Netherlands (they have a Guinness Book of Records-record and all).

Also a one-of-a-kind original Ford:

The blue one always stands out...

Safe in the museum you say? But now I know exactly where it is! Time to buy a big boat and plan how to sail across the world to steal macks car.
