Thanks for the compliments all!! the latest mods include the 94-95 13" Cobra front brake conversion, including Russell stainless steel brake lines all around, and playing with the tune to make it work. The car currently runs an Anderson Ford Motorsport Programmable Management System for tuning, and it works okay. it seems to fight with the stock computer, and sometimes it doesnt work well at all. like when the car stalls at an intersection when I am waving at a cute girl. i don't think 30# injectors help much, as Rick Anderson says that they are on the edge of tuning reliably. I also designed my own intake, and I used 4" PVC and heat blanket to make it work. I got rid of the bend into the fender that many aftermarket companies put there as a "cold air intake". BS, the engine bay gets cold air from around the headlights when you are moving, verified by the air charge reading on the data logger. I also took out the fog lamps, as they are pretty worthless anyhow. This gives it a ram air effect, pressurizing the fender and forcing air into the intake anyways. The whole reason for this is when I had the car on the dyno, and disconnected the elbow before the MAF, and it ran way lean, telling me that there is more potential for power there. since I pulled that elbow out, gave it more fuel and balanced the timing, it makes way more power. Ive also been debating painting the car. The car regularly sees track time, with speeds as high as 130 MPH, and the constant threat of sliding into the wall. If I do paint it, it will be the white that comes on the 99-04 Mustangs, called Crystal White, and I may paint the hood semi gloss black (matte) in the center, with a white pinstripe and white on the flatter parts of the hood. I guess I will have to find pics.
