Oh, I forgot to add, the car has the American Thunder Flowmaster cat back kit, the BBK no cats x pipe and BBK equal length shorty headers, ceramic coated. The cat back was put on shortly after I got the car, as the ghetto dog chain exhaust hangers got to me. every time I would go over a bump, the car would squeak for about 10 seconds noticeably. The american thunders really are loud, as my neighbors like to tell me when I take her out for a spin. I guess it may be louder than my 2004 harley with aftermarket exhaust, but I dunno. Also, the block is blueprinted, balanced, and aligned honed with torque plates. also gasket matched courtesy of Trick Flow, as the top end kit was top notch, best quality ever. the bottom end is all stock 88 GT, and it may have alot of miles, but it still works!!! the rods were re conditioned, shot peened and magna fluxed, or checked for cracks. it has ARP bolts throughout, and a Trick FLow tool steel stud girdle is in effect. I put it in the car with a MOROSO kick out style road race oil pan, and it holds 7 quarts. This combo was good for 300HP and 334 Ft Lbs torque at the wheels, corrected on a DynoJet. The rest of the drivetrain consists of the 3rd stock T5 that has been put in (broke 2 drag racing), a Fidanza aluminum flywheel weighing 15 lbs, and a Hays street/strip clutch. worst clutch ever. the driveshaft is an aluminum piece from Griggs, meant to work when you set the engine back 1.5 inches as I have. this really helps balance the car, as the rear used to want to pass the front in corners. now it just squats and goes, like a sports car should. the rear is stock for now, with 308 gears. I plan on 327 gears, and I have a full axle rebuild with C clip eliminators and a Saleen stud girdle soon to go in. I'm shure I forgot some stuff, as there is waAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much money, time and effort in this car, but damn, is it fun to drive. If i was to build another car, I think I would have done it exactly the same way.
