not specifically anyone you would come across on the street and race, but just another "item" to grab attention to your car.. Everyone has their own opinion on the matter.... I could understand the perspective of not spending the extra $$ on a different liscense plate.

I'm poor and have better upgrades(new tie rods LOL) to spend my money on.. But I don't see it as weird if you have the money etc.

Yeah I work with droptop at O'Reillys, I'm actually in Lawrence alot. I think we need to get a photo shoot after Cody(droptop) finishes his changes, and the s/c'er gets done on the cobra.

Well like I said mine won't be done until at least April... But when it does happen, yes a photoshoot would be in order. All my friends that I used to take car pictures
with all sold their mustangs/fast cars and now have something a lot less cool....

When you say Oriellys, you don't mean one of the two in Lawrence, do you?

No I work at the one in Bonner Springs, I wish it could be lawrence so I could be closer to Midwest Mustangs and Overkill

translation = all my friends got married and started having children and are just happy to not be in a minivan

HaHa... You nailed it right on the head... Some of my friends didn't quite follow that order, but whatever.. For some of my friends/people I know
they lost interest in Mustangs and wanted something faster, but now are disatisfied with whatever it is they might be driving currently..

I would put as much emphasis as I can through typing but I would NOT recommend ever taking your car to Overkill... Mark (owner) has blown up 2 guys mustangs I know, and didn't do anything more than paying to have it towed out of his shop afterwards.. Making numerous pulls on cars (especially boosted cars) lean on the dyno just to "see what kind of numbers it will put down", shutting cars off immediately after pulling them on the dyno without letting the RPMs drop back down, not to mention a guy I went to high school with, who right before his deployment gave Mark $10,000 and a running 93 Lx 5.0 to make it turbocharged and convert it to built automatic.. When he got back that car left the shop on a tow truck, never ran for longer than 2 min, and has more cut and spliced wiring underneath than a squirels nest.. I will give Mark this much credit: any pre 1980s bigblock carbd chevy or Buick T-type he can make into one hell of a machine, but fuel injected fords he is far from knowledgable from...

Sorry to rant (on my own thread might I add) but in all my experiences and friends experiences with him, he is nothing more than a giant ego mixed with "guess and check" repair style... Midwest Mustang is good for factory parts that happen to break/missing... aftermarket I would look elsewhere, usually the deals are better on craigslist. I have been dealing with Terry (owner of Midwest) for over 8 years now, he is an alright guy, and especially fond of negotiations...

Negotiations do work great with Terry, I've gotten multiple parts that way. Overkill I've heard both good and bad from them. I personally wouldn't have a car built by them, but to be able to ask them questions and be able to be near the shop just incase would be nice. But he does makes some damn nice t-type buicks and there was a nice BBC Chevelle in front of the shop last time I was down that way.

Yeah, his brother has a ton of modded cars, one is a 1300hp big block camero, and 2 buick T types with 500+ hp, but I'll never let him touch anything I own..
