Is it the power seat track ?? If it is ditch it and get a Manual one that's what i am doing. That's really about all you can do right now since you snapped the track like me. That was the only option.

Yeah My welds broke. Can I just buy a manual track seat or should I just buy a racing seat? Like a Hunsaker cause I cannot afford the CR1's I want ATM.

Well you have to have a seat track for the seat to bolt to whichever seat you get. If the Hunsaker comes with a seat track then by all means do it. I am replacing my snapped power seat track with a manual one. The driver and pass seat track are interchangeable.

Yeah my only dilemma is that I really want the CR1 and im not the type to settle. However the hunsaker is a really good seat alternative because of the cost. Ive just read bad reviews about them.

This is very common! Mine has broke in several spots and i keep rigging it and it just broke again. Luckily a member here was selling one so its on the way :)

They are on ebay all the time.

In 99' Ford stopped making the rail out of Aluminum because it was such a big issue on 94-98's.

Its easy to swap one out and if you are tall you can do the Mustang World seat modification and gain another 2 inches. I did it and it was perfect.

I went to the JY and grabbed a passneger side seat bracket off a v6.. cost me $10 and allowed me to wait till I had the funds to buy my new seats!

I also have a spare set of brackets in my garage

I'm fixing a rail on our race car, these seem under-designed. Seat rail was already repaired at the bend by prior owner, but it was insufficient.
I also noticed a crack in the floorboard near the rear seat bolts, is this common, or WTF?
