Ok so for the longest time I have been trying to figure out how my car made so much power on the dyno... You may not think 600+ hp is that much but on a 2v it's actually a good bit. So I sold my supercharger to open the door for a new project and have been slowly putting it back to stockish to either sell it or go with a new powerplant. I am in the middle of putting back on the good ol' plastic intake mani when I came into a huge problem. Old intake is busted so I had ordered a new one for 99-00 mustang gt since I had done a full pi swap. Intake came in... but it wont fit... and it's nothing like the one that I have on it now. it's wider on the bottom and doesn't allow for the line to go through in the valley of the block. After tons of searching on the internet i'm at a loss. I took it to a mech, and he called to tell me it has cobra/bullitt heads, can this be possible if they are cobra heads wouldn't it be a dohc (side note, i have oil fills on both heads from the head swap) So it's a mystery what the heads really are, which i should know, but don't. How can i tell, and if they are bullitt heads I heard they are worth around $800-900 a piece is that true? The car has a built block and what I thought were PI heads but now I have no clue what they are... Since I might sell the car I need to know what I've got.. I am wondering if someone made a mistake when i had got the heads a couple years ago..
