my left side speakers dont come on. i got a new HU awhile ago and nothing changed. just installed new kenwood speakers and the left side comes on when it feels like it just like with my stockers. my left rear speaker makes almost NO noise at all. 94gt factory amp and all that stuff. im thinking maybe its the amp?

It might be the amp or the connections. If you installed speakers I would just run new speaker wire. I know you can integrate with factory amps ect but I found it eaiser just to bypass them.

did you have a mach system in the car?

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. The way to test that is to follow the connections and just pull/twist/tug on the wires as you go with power on the radio. Try to isolate it to one area and you can normally track it down with out too much trouble.

Doesn't factory amp mean it's the Mach1 system? I'm with the other guy, i'd just bypass all that crap as well versus integrating.

But to me it sounds like you've got a loose wire somewhere. Doesn't sound much more serious then that. Unless the channels are blown out on the amp.

if you don't have the mach there is nothing to bypass, and there is no amps.

Spend the time to check the connections again. Do it with the radio on and manipulate the wire hrns's and trace the wiring. Pull/push/tug on the wires to see if you can get the signal to drop out again and it normally does not take very long.

If its not the Mach system it shouldnt have an amp. The amps are usually located under neath the piece thats bolted to the deck lid piece of your car. But you have a vert so it would be different.

like I said there are actually 3 differeny systems and it sounds like he might have the rare premium system. It added a small amp under the deck, didn't really do much though...

Only saw 2 of them in all the years I was yankin them out of mustangs.

was there an amp under the deck? If so then it was one of the rare premium stereos. Not rare as in it made it worth more just rare as in more confusing....
