re both different, so we can't steal from one t save another) I was onderingif you guys know anywhere online that sells small fittings... like 1/8 fine thread barbed fitting, and a 1/16 fine thread barbed fitting... My grandad is in pipe supply, and told me a place to look, unfortunately they don't have one here in Houston(visiting family) i'll check when i get back to Va. but for now, i was wondering if you guys knew any online places that has fittings... any help is geatly appreciated... because if i find both fittings, get to keep one. What FPR is it? Can you post a picture? It is likely I have the fittings or know where to get them.

NOS has a 1/16" NPT to -3AN or -4AN fitting, but I'm not sure about a barb. A 1/8" NPT barb fitting should be available at any hardware store.

NPT is NPT...don't matter who makes it.

Yeah, but some of them use 1/16" NPT and some use 1/8" NPT, depending on what it's going to.

I ended up drilling/tapping the vacuum port on my aeromotive FPR to 1/8" NPT because it comes 1/16" from them.

Paul,

Was your aeromotive FPR the rail mounted unit?

Picked up the rail mounted unit, and can't find a 1/16" 90 degree fitting... but I didn't think about opening it up to 1/8"... Did you pull the FRP appart to tap it, or just grease the bit & tap?

Look for a lowes or home depot or even look up pipe stores down where you are or ask around for smaller mom and pop stores. Someone is bound to have what you want. Also are there any speed shops near by?

No, mine's the bigger one for aftermarket rails.

I took it apart to drill/tap. It's only 4 bolts and there is really nothing to it. Just be careful, the metal was a bit thin on the area I drilled/tapped.

BadBlack - let me look in my fitting assortment when I get home and see if I've got something that will work.

Okay, here's what I've got:

My Aeromotive FRP has a 1/16" NPT barb fitting on the vacuum port. I can't get rid of this one, but perhaps it can be obtained through Aeromotive, or some type of plumbing supply place?

Then I have a 1/16" NPT to -3AN, and another to -4AN flare. I also have 1/8" NPT small and large barb fittings.

I don't know. I have hundreds of spare fittings - however, I'm quite confident that any hardware store that doesn't suck should have that fitting. If not, send me your address and I'll mail it to you.
