Need help swapping from a GT wing to a OEM cobra wing on my 95 convertible!?!?!?

I bought a 1995 OEM Cobra wing that I am going to put on my 1995 GT (convertible)... well I got the wing and tried a test fit and the front holes do not match up?. Is this normal? I wanted to here from people who have swapped out their wings.. Especially from convertible to hardtop .. are the trunks different? and Is a Cobra wing the same bolt pattern as a GT wing?... :angry7:

i believe the convert. and coupe trunks are the same, but the factory cobra and gt/v6 trunks are different.
So you would either need to drill new holes in you gt trunk, or buy a cobra decklid.

Drill new holes, plug old holes with interior screws. Works like a charm.

I was thinking about putting on a 94/95 cobra wing on my 97GT. I know the back two holes will line up, but will the wing cover the front 2 holes? If they just cover them and not line up, I will just double side tape it.
