Need help with some codes.

My g/f's 97 Mustang has the check engine light on and we had it checked for codes and two came up.

1) P0174
2.) P1443

Anyone know where I should start to fix these problems?

Not a problem man. Hopefully those are your culprits. I just replaced my purge valve and it didn't get rid of my P1443. The emissions on the 5.0 are different than the 4.6 so :dunno:

I got the first code before on my 97, all I did to fix it was clean the MAF sensor. Worst thing that codes could be is a bad o2 sensor. I cant help you with the other code.
