Need some quick help

I'm getting ready to buy a Pypes O/R x-pipe and I was looking and it says that I need O2 extensions for an 04 do I really need these or what.

do you have long tubes? o2s are usually pretty close to the collector, if i recall correctly. and if you get long tubes, it moves the collector 12 inches down-stream... youll need to move the o2s as well, so you need 12 inches of additional wiring harness....

No I'm not getting long tubes yet. I'm just sticking with the stock headers for now.

than i dono.... lol. if you are getting an x pipe that matches up to your OEM manifolds, i dont know why you would need 02 elongators.

go to Americanmuscle and look at the pypes xpipe and it says in like a note area...and 04 mustang needs the extensions so I don't know

4v's have 4 O2 sensors. 2 in the collectors, two in the factory X. That's possibly why you would need extenders.

Well my GT has 4 O2's and it hooked up directly to xpipe

Well I ordered my xpipe and I got the extensions sor 189 total so I think I got a good deal
