I got the SVE mongoose kit from 5.0 Resto which came with clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing. Now I didnt get my flywheel resurfaced because it had no hot spots and I greased EVERYTHING, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, bearing retainer shaft, even the fingers of the pressure plate where the throwout bearing would touch. I torqued the pressure plate in a star pattern but at 25 ft/lbs not the 23 required because my torque wrench didnt go down that low. I can only come up with a few options on why I have chatter. 1) I got grease on the flywheel by accident. 2) Maybe...just maybe I warpped the pressure plate. 3) My clutch cable is stretched out. I have a double hook quadrant and I have to put the cable on the farthest hook because its too long to go on the first one and my firewall adjuster is almost all the way to the firewall. So, 3) maybe its an adjustment problem.</p></blockquote><p></p>
