I personally know 3 people with 4.0 liter equiped Jeeps.. A guy i work withtakes very good care of his 98 Cheerokee, oil changes every 3mo/3,000 mi, got it from his parents with 25,000 mi on it, and it now has around96K and smokes like a chimney and still has the imfamous exhaust leak from the manifold, after it's been changed once. Another guy i knowwith a 96 Wrangler also takes very good care of his Jeep (actually works at a "Quick Lube" place) and just driving down the highway everything fine, then all of a sudden the oil pump went out and before he could pull over to the side, his engine locked up. Not to mention everysingle one I see has a cracked Exhuast Manifold, oil leaks out the wazzo, and even with regular oil changes- burns oil. But everyone has theirown opinions about everything, that just happens to be mine.</blockquote>
