Hey guys, New member from South Florida, Fort Lauderdale area. Just purchased a super clean 94 Vibrant Red GT convertible. Wanted to bring you guys along with me on my journey as I build the car. I hope I can add as much value to the forum as possible.

I’m not down there full time yet but I’ve been splitting up a lot of my time down there lately and making a push to flip to being down there full time very soon.

What all plans you got for the vert???

Thanks for getting back so fast guys. Well, my plans is to get her into the 12s.
Nice little cruiser with some BITE. Since I've bought her, I've installed 4.10 gears and cosmetics mods. Came with bbk x pipe, and Flows. I'm have lowering springs, drilled and slotted brakes to install.
Also got sweet deal on staggered AM bullet set with Nitto 555r with plenty tread $400.
255/17 front 315/17 rear. Gonna put all new parts on next week.

Had her for about a month now.
Vibrant Red original paint, 107,000 mikes, aod-e, mach 460, had ford CD player now has in-dash, Charcoal grey leather interior,
Came 3:27 gears now 4.10. bbk x-pipe
Flowmasters.
Soon to install American Racing 17" bullets with nitto 555r all the way around
Lowering springs, new struts and drilled and slotted brakes.

I had a yellow 70 Road Runner. My wife said she wanted her own car to cruise in. She said it had to be a convertible, had to have an automatic, and had to be pink! I figured it would take a long time to find something that met all that and was also in the budget. A week later, a 98 GT that fit popped up on Autotrader. Had to have it! A year or two later I sold my Road Runner and was looking for another toy. A yellow 98 GT 5-speed came up for sale in Tennessee, and the PO had already done some cosmetic mods exactly like my wife had done on hers. Again, had to have it!

I’m still further west in Naples but that would be cool. Not too many mustang enthusiasts around here that aren’t 18 and think loud is fast.
