I did the same thing to my Durango, even though Dodge claimed it could not be done. Manufacturers do it because there is actually a law against running aux lighting with the high beams, somewhere somehow there is something written that high beams can not go over so many watts of total output, when factoring in the watage of high beams and the fog lights those numbers exceed the legal limit. Honestly it is a ticketable offence, but it is kind of like window tint.... They need a way to prove it BEFORE the ticket can be written.  The only way you might get written on it is if you really light up some cop sitting along side the road in the middle of nowhere while he is sleeping.  :hammer:</p></blockquote><p></p>
