I bought new valve covers from my work since we sell ford racing parts. I picked these out, i really like the wrinkle black look so i painted the svo motorsport intake wrinkle black. Its hard to see the wrinkles on the intake but it turned out pretty good. These valve covers are about three quarters of a inch taller then the cobra aluminum ones that were on the car when i got it. These look much better and havent been jb welded ( previous owner cracked them in diff places due to overtightening them and when i replaced the gaskets it would puke oil on the pass side). The wrinkle black paint worked extremely well even though i was skeptical at first. Applied three coats in a cross hatch pattern and it was shiny, so i wasnt sure sure how it would turn out. Went to the garage that morning and was amazed at how wrinkled the paint took. Let me know what you guys think! <chris> old ones
