hello from Pacific Northwest. Building a 351 based stroker. In a 98 coupe originally v6. Got most everything done but found you expects to get answers to a few questions and things that are kicking my butt on this build.

Right at the moment. Best location for a driveshaft Loop. Engine set back and running a C6. the rear seat. Bolt plate is about 6 inches from yoke. No subframe connectors yet but need the loop for my class I plan running. Just wondering if anyone else had mounted there

This sounds like an awesome toy!!!!!

I do t have an answer on the loop as it’s one thing I haven’t had to do yet.

Surely one of the drag racers here have an answer for that.

Did some measuring and the back seat bolt puts the loop in about the correct location. And clears all the junk in the tunnel. What I did was center the loop in the tunnel. Took grease and put it on the tips of the back seat bolts that stick through the body. Drilled the loop brace to utilize the seat bolt. Then after drilling and. Verifying I got the drilled holes correct. I removed the old aft seat inner seat bolt. I then got the correct M10x1.5. Bolts and installed the bolts from the bottom. Securing the loop in place. Then I was able to take the 2 most outer bolt holes on the loop and drill for fasteners. As for the seat I ensured the bolts were long enough. To put a washer and lock but. To secure the seats back in place.
