Alright guys im talking to somebody about possibly trading my car for an 04 2v. He has a bunch of work done to it including nitrous. However, I dont want it on there so id be taking it off. He says hes only sprayed twice. Is there anything I should worry about?

I just never believe anyone that has a No2 system that says they sprayed it 2 times. Seems like too much trouble, and too much fun after it is installed to only do it 2 times. But otherwise you can always pull it off if you don't want it but if you are just afraid that they do nothing but blow up motors that is old news and not the case anymore for a properly set up system.

Is it a wet or dry kit? Is it tuned for nitrous? And who did the install?

That's what I'd be asking the owner. May give a clue whether it was done right or not.

not sure if you or him would be willing to, but you could always ask to pull a plug and see how it was burning

^ good point. But I would imagine you would want to see car WOT before spending the money on it.

I don't think I would buy even a bicycle with out seeing how it handles under hard acceleration and braking. But being afraid of NO2 isn't such an issue now. If you have the fuel pressure sensor and NO2 pressure sensor to kill it if the pressure is too low, a Window switch to keep it from happening when you don't want it. Hell if you never use it it will not hurt anything and bet ya then next guy that gets the car would like it.

You could leave it on and just not use it.. maybe down the road you might even wanna play with it and all youd have to do is flip a switch
