Nodular Iron FLywheel Servicing

Hey guys. new questions!!!

story:
was going to buy a ford racing nodular flywheel. THey no longer make them.
was going to use an OEM Cast Iron out of a car at the tune shop im going to - turns out its aluminum.
found original nodular iron one on ebay, in the mail now.

soooo. i want to get the thing machined. WHo knows how long its been sitting in some dude's garage.....

questions:
how do i inspect it for damage (warpage?) and can I take it to a NAPA to have the machining done? becuase its nodular instead of cast, will the process be different? or can they use the same technique, machine, and tools as if it were an OEM cast unit?

Anywhere can machine it.

I Just bought my FRPP Nodular Flywheel from LastCallRacing.com. They told me it was discounted and they had to have it dropped shipped from TX.

well. i hope to get mine soon i just need to know where to take it to get it properly machined.... you say anywhere can do it? just like a regular flywheel?

Any decent machine shop will be able to do it. A little tip though most clutch companies want them ground not cut.

I've had a flywheel turned at a NAPA multiple times. They do a fine job. It's not rocket science.

will the fact that its nodular iron vs. cast iron change anything, i guess was the real question. lol.
i just got my rotors back from NAPA, i trust them over anyone else, by far.
