neighbor across the road showed me a really really neat addition to his truck -- an OBDII sensor that reports all this real time data to an app that displays the data in a series of readout dials -- so i tried to reproduce the setup on my 2001 cobra with very limited success -- it almost looks like the onboard OBD setup is not sophisticated enough to provide all the fancy data streams -- so i thought it might be better to start at the beginning --

does anyone know of a OBD sensor/readout module and app combination that will work on a 2001 cobra and is compatible with android auto ?

many thanks.

i was successful in getting a connection between a Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ (amazon link) and the Torque PRO app available in google play -- it works only in an android setup -- you get buckets of data -- the only drawback for me is that i could only get readout on my phone -- could not get anything to the dash screen via android auto -- the OBD Fusion app is compatible with android auto but connected intermittently to the OBD tool -- in the end -- even the apps that are compatible with android auto only report in text data format -- no graphics at all -- so i've moved on --

Late response.

I use Torque Pro and Forseal OBD2 wifi connector for the Mustang and G35.

They work well for me, although I am only using them to fix the cars.

I used to use the BAFX BT OBD2 connector but got so many duds after the first good one that I switched to the wifi connector.

The Audi has its own LT, cable and VCDS software....because...well...Audi...
