Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1001720" data-attributes="member: 11896">there are two there on the front and then like I said there is a third - behind the radio...........  If you pull it out, look down that long plastic piece the radio slides onto and you will see a phillips head back there where it meets the metal brace.  Now if you do not want to do all that, take the two up front out and give a good jerk...  The plastic clip is thin and will break off in back and really isn't needed(mine has been gone for years).  But it is easier with the radio out honestly and if you have the keys its easy to do.The 3rd an final option if you are just fine with the fact the cd player is broken and you are not going to fix it, stick a screw driver in one of those holes and pry the face off.....  They come off fairly easily honestly and then you can see the springs to release the cd player.  The tools not working because the springs/clips being bent wrong is a common problem and on alot of other fords like old escorts and crown vics there was no way to take the dash off and had to break the face.  In the years I worked I ended up breaking a few faces out of need.  Its kinda fun...........</blockquote>
