Oil Pan (HELP)

Can the oil pan be pulled out without dropping the trans or pulling the motor? Because to me it looks like you would have to do one or the other. Thanks for any advice guys.

Almost impossible. Pan wont clear the fly wheel.

You should be able to do it if you drop the k-member.

naww!! you can do it by lifting the engine.

Well, I had my trans out, and then lifted the engine. Didn't pull it though. I dunno how it would have gone if I did it with the trans in the car. I know exaclty what it takes to pull the engine out, I was about 5 bolts and a few connections from removin the engine :-D

how bad of a leak do you have?

Dropping the K is easy, only about 12 bolts or so.
