If you are going to be doing it by hand you won't be able to break down a more aggressive polish like it needs to be. I highly recommend a Porter Cable Polisher with either Poorboy's or Optimum polishes. Both of these brands work great, I also give members here a 10% discount on products. The PB's and Optimum polishes will work great on oxidization and removing swirls with a machine polisher.
