Opinions on purchasing a new code scanner

My code scanner finally took a dump so I'm looking at these 2 from Equus. Both have display freeze frame & live data. Both are OBD2, but the Equus 3140 adds OBD1 scanning & the Equus 3160 adds ABS scanning features.

Which would you say is a better choice?

When you say adds in ABS scanning, how much is supported? I have heard of people who bought scanners that had ABS scanning included, and have yet to find a car that is ABS supported. OBD1 and OBD2 seems to be a better choice in my eyes.
