If I may, as you have, be harsh, Painting calipers is not something that has any real use, and as such is a "fun project." Seriously, if you are willing to spend hours disassembling and putting your brakes back together for a simple paint that in itself took us over 3 hours to complete, then more power to you, but they will LOOK the same whether you disassemble them completely, paint each piece (if painting it all the same color) and put it back together, or you spray everything you could possibly see, then put the calipers back on, and no one sees anything but a new coat of paint. Again, little things like taking out the brake pads that were not acceptable, but all in all, they look fine despite the process. The worst thing that could happen would be the paint coming off, in which case I'll put your more thorough procedure to the test. If they hold up though, I can see no reason to try again though. Again, I appreciate your comment, and can see where you're coming from, but taking such a mundane project so seriously is in my opinion a waste of breathe.</blockquote>
