Message: <blockquote data-quote="det_riot" data-source="post: 568653" data-attributes="member: 11417">i did my tails like this and they turned out good!<a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30234501&l=e9f2028e19&id=1250520056" target="_blank">http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30234501&l=e9f2028e19&id=1250520056</a>mine started out as white. since i'm not going hardcore show car what i did for prep was clean the whole area i'd be spraying. soap and water to get the dirt off then used some brake clean after that. rubbing alcohol works great too. next step was to tape off the area i didnt want sprayed so for me the actual lenses. once it was all prepped up it took me about 3-4 light coats to completely cover them. wait about 10 minutes in between each coat and be sure not to put to thick of a layer on or else they'll orange peel like a biatch. if you got any huge imperfections like scratches i'd start with a lower grit sand paper to work it out then work your way up to a real fine grit so blend it all back together</blockquote>
