i just installed the livernois kit and now my car runs like crap, it idles ok and you can rev it ok but while driving it has no power, it sounds like its bogging out, i called livernois and they told me its most likely that i need a tune because my A/F ratio is way off, has anyone else had a similar problem, if so what was it?

the only problem i had after i swapped intakes is it would die when i would come to a stop sign, then would have trobule startin cause it was flooded. this only happened a handful of times. once the computer adjusted all was well. i dunno, maybe try unhooking your battery, then just letting it idle for a while, then go drive it and see if it will adjust itself.

plz check your plugs good. that means both that the wires are COMPLETELY seated, and that you have fouled a plug. another common issue is coolant in the plug holes. check all those i just listed. i can almost guarentee one of them is your problem

+1 on this. does the car feel like its misfiring? i installed a PI intake on my friends car, and while it idled and revved up good, it ran like crap, a little worse than how it was with the NPI intake. doublechecked everything because i thought i had a leak somewhere, everything checked out perfect. finally tested the plug wires (they were new and i had just installed them that night too), and it turns out 2 of the wires werent working and it was misfiring. check all the plugs and plug wires, then check the plugs themselves. also, make sure everything is connected how it should be (ie vacuum lines, fuel injectors, etc)

ill try checking the plug wells for coolant this weekend, that could be a posibility, maybe a plug is shot, i dont know, but i can roll really slow into the throttle and its not too bad but you give it any gas and its just a dog, way worse that before, it feels like its really chugging, even when you rev it up it sounds totally different, will an obdII reader tell me whats up?

all you have is an o/r h and a pi intake and muffs you really shouldn't be running that lean have you gotten it taken care of yet?

I mean when i go into the computer and look at the o2 sensors they read lean but i guess it's within the limits of what the computer can do cause i don't have a CEL

Amazing, there's no way that can happen if you do it the right way...

A code reader will tell you if it's misfiring, and where.

yup, and im gonna go out on a limb and say it might be the same cylinder that was missing on me, passenger side, 4th one back. my car did the EXACT same thing yours is doing.

its going to be:

1. Plug fouled
2. Plug wire not fully seated
3. Coolant in the plug hole

And you didn't spend an arm and a leg on a "kit".

I wasn't being a smart ass like that, I was referring to the people who say in that condescending way "I'm not using silicone, I'd rather do it the right way with the adapters and not have any problems".

At any rate, did you get it?

why dont people listen to me, lmao. the intake will NOT make him run that lean. please, i have done this mod. had the SAME exact issue. Mine turned out to be a fouled plug. the PI intake will not cause his car to run lean enough to have driveability issues.

I had the same exact issue as well...and it was the same plug as you described...coolant in the hole.
