So tonight I was at the store and after I came out I went to start the car and it would start them die, and other times it would run like sh!t then die again. So would press on the gas pedal to get some extra gas through and then it would die as soon as I let off the gas pedal. I was finally able to get it started by running it at about 4,000 rpms for a few minutes then letting it die down and revving it up as it wanted to die again. It's done this before just not quite as bad. The car has about 155,xxx on the odometer, I just changed the oil like 3 months ago and not driving it that much. The only experience I have with engines is with smal engines (I work at a small engine repair shop) and that usually is fuel system but the cars been running premium from 76 for the past 4 fills and every fill before was plus as I refuse to run regular. The tank is right above 1/4 but I'm waiting for my gf to get home with the gas card, I just don't want it to happen as I'm filling up and have to park it seeing as it's my daily driver. So am I being stupid and it's something simple or what? I could probably afford to put it in the shop but I just put over 6k into the car last year to have it rebuilt and like I said earlier it is my daily driver. Thank you so much in advance for any help/advice.

fuel filter? spark plugs? clogged injectors?

Try this "Greased Lightning - Fuel Treatment". you can find it at O'reilly's. It was recommended to me buy someone with similar problems and its the best I've ever used.

I had idle problems when i first got my car, changed all the above and it runs without a hitch.

just some places to start.

No but the air bag light has been on for a while :dontknow:
And that's the second one of the head gasket being blown, which kind of scares me. I know that it isn't a cheap fix, and I don't have the time to fix it myself
