I’ve gotten used to them over the years and they’re not bad. Isn’t that Escort model $1900 or so?
if ya go through a dealer which would include install since it is a remote unit. If you look around you can find them for about the same price as the V1 and install it yourself as it is not that hard. It would take more time than the V1 for sure but that GPS feature really made it nice to know when you were around town and it went off that it was real.

Just going to leave it on the dashboard top to the right of the clock.

Then easy to take down when I don't need it in use.

And it's here!

That's just in the back garden today - where I've put it in the car it's showing 18.2 in the sun. Drops a little when it's cloudy.

Car was showing 13.24 before I connected it - let's see what it says in a couple of days...

I like the look of those . If money was no object and you built cars for customers I’d send one your way for sure . Your cars a masterpiece

Thanks Musturd.
I was actually just talking to Tom Clark about doing exactly that, as im nearing the end of my concrete career and thinking about a post retirement hobby. You may see some joint builds in the future.

I bought 5 hours of labor to fix the shiat QC for my Magnaflow 141114 CARB compliant mid-pipe. Looks like they might have fixed the driver rear O2 sensor low voltage issue too. I also bought a 2000 Honda Accord 2-door V6. Had to run a couple servers to L.A. and had not gotten my Cobra back yet so I put out the bat signal and one of my coworkers had a family member wanting to get rid of the Honda and they didn't want to fuss around. Checked it out, no forbidden glitter in the fluids, no fluids mixing, no leaks, new tranny, new stainless exhaust & OEM cat, 150K miles but the interior looks like it has 20k miles. Picked it up for $2k and drove the servers 500 miles. Got paid my mileage plus $2k so the car was, in the end, free. Runs like a champ but it's about the least communicative car I've ever driven. No steering feedback, no engine noise feedback, no real feedback of any kind. It also has a tape player and a cd player.

Those were good cars for what they are.

He sold the cobra long ago. It was in MA somewhere. Not sure of its current location.
He has built 4 other cars since and has another one in the works.

Not pictured is an MK1 that he also sold.

He has another in the works now.
