Problem with engine

I have a 308 with a carburetor, with an old msd set up,with a c4 I just replaced head gaskets, got rockers adjusted a little loose, it ran good, I drove it done the rd it had just rained I have street ets on rear I was in first it spun revved up to 5500 i let out put it in second and it started missing bad, I've adjusted rockers replaced plugs, just got done replacing lifters tonight, it still has miss and has a popping sound when I give it has like an exhaust leak but I've tightened all bolts on exhaust, the lifters looked fine on rollers on one's I took out, the heads are trickflow twisted new, I have no clue what is going on

Have you done a compression test yet?

Have you replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor since it started missing?
Look for moisture under the dizzy cap.
