(figured i didnt do it right). fired it up and ran great for most of the summer. but last weekend i was at an autocross, spun a cookie on dry pavement and kept my foot in it and completed my smokey cookie. headed off around the corner and noticed the same sound in the same general area.now at this point i havent gotten to tear it down and see whats up under the valve covers as im currently garageless. i purhased the noted parts as sort of a package deal from a local speed center. so heres my questions.do you think the pushrods are too short? ive had them adjusted twice, and they didnt seem to short? nothing was rubbing? everything seemed as though they were correct so i didnt bother to measure the pushrod length or even check to see if the back pushrod was bent. (i just assumed i adjusted the valves incorrectly, my bad obviously)is it likely i have a faulty lifter that bleeds down under harsh load?also, i drove it home from the autocross, and the chatter went away. how the hell could the chatter start and then go away?as soon as i find a place to tear it apart, im going to install my turbo kit and everything, but obviously not until i find the culprit to the top end chatter on the driver rear head. if i dont find anything, i think im going to order some hardened pushrods, and reorder lifters as well. because at this point. im lost as all hell.any suggestions or advice is appreciated</blockquote>
