Quick car poll!! Update 3/23

This is my current stang that has about 80k on the motor, short throw shifter, cai, x-pipe with thrush mufflers and cutouts, tinted windows, gt40 intake*, gt40 heads*, and 24 inject*. *= not on car.

The other option is a possible trade with this car it has 5 speed lowered 2 in all around leather interior, flowmasters, bullet 17in wheels 107 thousand miles.

Owning a Vert means a lifetime of upkeep on the top. If you aren't committed to getting a new one every 7 years or so i'd say get the coupe. I know that I have to have a vert now so mine would only be replaced with another.

I do like the silver car though but I wouldn't trade unless your car has issues other then needing a new top.

I am gonna say no deal, and heres why- 1: your car has almost thirty thousand less miles (you probably dont know how hard his miles have been driven), 2: Having a clean black vert is way cooler than a new edge any day, and 3: if ur are going to trade anything just save your money for that 03/04 termi that i know you want anyways. Do you not have feelings for your car anymore?

lolololol. I just have never been a big fan of the sn95 body... The only reason I got it was because it was an even v6 to v8 trade I didn't car about the body. I loooooove the new edge look. I do like the vert but it leaks and can stay very very cold even with the heat on. This is my dd

I see y'all have turned in to a bunch of sissies yet again. I've owned my Vert since 8/3/02. I have had 1 unwanted top charge, I've replaced 1 top b/c it was slashed. Twice just because I wanted to. My 1 I didn't want was when it opened while driving about 45-55 MPH. Still so happy with mine! Pull up your panties, ladies!

i would be split on this decision to be honest and i would haggle the hell out of the guy if he wants to trade meaning i would completly check every thing i could on the new edge before making the trade and if his has more miles on it i would also figure a number out as to how much money he would have to give you to make the trade worth your while but its all a matter of personal choice.

Keep the vert. Find someone private to do your top, I found someone to do it for $650 w/ everthing included. Tops last a long time, my first replacement on a 94. As towards finishing your car do it, and try to do it yourself to keep costs down. This in return will def help your resale value if you have the gt40 parts on it rather than the stock.

Damn this is hard. One thing you must remember. THerres 2354235223 99-04 v6s on the road today. Can you count how many times you see a 94-98 body style when driving? Its rare in chicago. Now factor in you have a v8 94-98.. you win if its nice and fixed up =]
