So, I bought a camera instead of car parts recently since my cars been down it allows me to participate in things, borrowed a friends camera a couple events ago and bought one a few days later haha.

I got a Nikon D5200 with a 18-55mm and a 55-200mm lens, I've been using it mainly for drifting so far. I've also only had it for about a week and a half, here's what I've got so far. Any criticisms and comments welcome!

P.S. Shameless plug, I made a media page on facebook under Zero Focus Media

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Zero-Focus-Media/1414437112184364

These will be in order of events, first few will be with a friends Canon Rebel XSi. Anything with my watermark is with my Nikon

Wow! Those are some killer shots. I'm not sure of your experience level, but those photos look completely professional

PS changed your thread title to match sleepn_sn95 and my own learning to use camera threads :) Hope you don't mind

Thanks man, thats awesome to hear. I've literally had my camera about a week and a half and the only other time I"ve used one was like a week and a half before that for one day, so almost no experience LOL Just lots of forza pictures and observing local guys I've been kind of getting ideas from.

Perfectly fine thats pretty much what I was going for! Thanks buddy, I like yours too, I was supposed to get a tripod so I could do still stuff and try video too but I ordered the wrong package, I wanna try stuff like you've been doing too, it looks good!

Best shot.

The mirror could be easily photoshopped out and you could sell this as a print.

This was my original edit of like one frame before, went with a warmer touch but it was the first photo I uploaded after that day, and one of the regulars photographers responses was simply "I quit" and I laughed pretty hard haha.

Rallim, I actually haven't been using a tripod at all :p I've only used a tripod for night where I need a very slow shutter speed. I'll likely use a tripod a bit more when I do shoots of still cars

I wanted to do night stuff, local mountain night time photo shoots ;)

This is the closest to still stuff I've really tried, my old 540 haha.

Dude, these pictures are bad ass. Seriously. And agree with Ferocious on that one shot with the Mustang - best one. I would totally buy that and hang it in my garage.

Thanks guys. I actually just quit my job because I got a job involving some photo work, nothing focusing on it but it involves it and cars now which is pretty rad.
