Random Coil Failure?

First off is it possible to have the coil randomly freak while driving The car will spit and sputter and sometimes die. But then it will go back to normal and I can drive it a few more miles and it will do it again. There is no consistency to the problem at all. Occasionally it wont do it at all on a drive and most times it will freak out like that. The reason I dont think its the ICM is cuz it will even do it on first startup at time, not only when its warm and I have been driving awhile?

Secondly can I test an MSD coil for the same Ohm resistance as I would test a stock one? Or will the resistances be different?

Oh, and the dizzy and pickup are literally brand new

Check dizzy for corrosion with the capr off

That's good to hear man. My buddy just said he had a spare stock one so I'm gonna brow it on and see if that fixes it. I sure hipe it does. I'm tired of spending money on this Damn thing. I just wanna drive it.
