Yes, the fluid will drain out when you take the cover off. Take off the bottom bolts at first, pry the bottom of the cover open and let it drain out before you remove the cover. As for gear oil, I'm a tightwad, and was on an extremely tight budget so I bought Valvoline 80w90 gear oil. Don't forget your friction modifier!! My 95's rear took about almost 2qts (64oz) + the 7oz bottle of friction modifier. Fill it with one bottle of gear oil, then add the friction modifier, and continue adding gear oil until it over flows. I'd recommend a pump for filling, because the shit tastes awful and doesn't flow easily.</p></blockquote><p></p>
