Does anyone know of a pretty good write upcfor a rear seat delete? I have a pretty good idea im just curious what everyone elses looks like.

go to the store and get a couple pieces of posterboard. Take a pair of scissors and trim each side to fit and then use some tape or staples to put all the pieces together. Transfer that to wood and then cover it.

when i bought the car it came with an MMR delete.
they never gave me the hardware for the backseats thuugh. so when i want to remove the seats and put in the delete it takes about a minute and a half lol.
its a good excuse to only have ONE passanger.

And the same reason I want one too, lol. The backseat is pretty much cosmetic unless youre under 5'5 and 120lbs.

i made my rear seat delete..first make a pattern with cardboard n then trace it to plywood ,,,, just look for a thick plywood just in case u have to sit someone n make small holes n put the seatbelt clip through the plywood n its all set dont forget to wrap it all the way around the back piece or u will see the plywood when u open ur trunk

Its not made of plywood but strong plastic so it can support more weight if you need to put something on it.
I had them ship it to me with out the carpet glued on so I can have it covered in some black vinyl. I'm also going to get my hole saw and make a few ports to help keep my amps cool that will be mounted under where the backseat was.

Please explain to me what the purpose of making a rear seat delete is, if you're gonna make it out of MDF. It completely nullifies the purpose of removing the seats to save weight, in-fact, probably causing it to be heavier.beuchaw94gt said:

whats with the seatbelts sticking out?
i could understand the straps still being there but why the ones sticking out of the bottom? looks silly if you ask me.
