just backed out of the drive and bang, i hear it rubbing against the lower contrl arm. I guess they are prone to breaking because of how cheap they are made from factory. What they do is press and bendle a piece of steel tubing and all that strain from the pressing gets the best of them and thats where they snap right where they connect to the control arm on the flat piece.

I'd go cobra rear swaybar. Mine is stock gt and I've never had any problems with it... I've never heard of one breaking either :dunno:

I thought it was only common for the 94/95 and that they "fixed" it in 96+ cars. I may be wrong though. :dunno:

Well, I ordered a Steeda "Heavy Duty" (or so they claim its made different) sway bar last night I appreciate your offer 94Pro-5.0 to help out I only wish I wouldn't have rushed buying a new one now.

People break them all the time. They usually break where the bar meets the solid mounting end. Most bars are hallow, Cobra's too.

v6 bars are actually not hollow, but they are a smaller diameter. 21 as opposed to 23 and 24 I think.

Yea, I hear quite often about people breaking sway bars in SN's....I went ahead and did some preventative maintenance (thats how I justify it :) ) and upgraded mine while I was doing the rest of the suspension.
