Hello im curious as to what paint gun(s) every one has used for a good turn out on their car. Is there any gun you guys recommend for around 200$? When it comes to paint gun is it just one of those things where "you get what you pay for?"

Sharpe makes a gun (Finex i think..blue accents) that is a great gun for the price..about $120 if i remember right.....sprays solids great but also atomized pearls and metallics much better than Iwata's due to the cap pressure being higher.....generally yeah ya get what you pay for as most people wouldnt notice the difference in metallics or pearls thru an Iwata but still the Sharpe Finex is a phenominal gun for the price.....ive got 2 of them that i use for just regular in-the-garage type spraying for a while now with no complaints at all

EDIT: here's the Sharpe gun im talking about.....i'd recommend a 1.3 for color/clear and a 1.7 for primer.....some people like smaller or bigger needles/caps but i find 1.3/1.7 setup is nice for all around usage

Where can you get one Whip?

IIRC some gun at Harbor Freight had decent results for a cheepie as well. I'd have to get with one of my buddies, he did a home paintjob on his Lexus.

I use a sata with a 1.3 and a snap on with a 1.5. I recommend a 1.5 for clear it shoots it really good
