noticed the start of some corrosion, but it's far enough long that it's already the begining of the end. it's my fault, i didn't take as good of care as i could've but i want to fix it. i called a chrome shop in Atlanta and it would cost 1100 bucks to redip them but they don't have a warrenty on redipped chrome wheels. If i stripped the chrome myself with boratic acid it would cut the cost to 800 bucks. they said they use boratic acid to strip the rims and i think i can get it at Home Depot or Lowes. Any thoughts or advice on fixing this issue? I looked at buying new rims but i can't seem to find exactly what i have anymore, DD rims have taken over or i can't find the rear 17x10.5. Anybody know of a chrome shop in south Georgia/North Florida that may have better prices?
