Today I finally decided to pull my injectors to see if I could clean them and test the spray pattern. They were not easy to get out, but I got them out, and when I did, one of the injector hats(?) fell apart and another one was cracked. And now I'm considered if refurbishing them is even worth it. I looked the part number up and it doesn't seem many people are thrilled about them. (Bosch 0280150943/FORD FOTE-D 5B) I would prefer upgrading them but I don't really know what to look for. I do have plans to change the cams and port the heads or even swap the heads for better airflow down the line so being prepared for that would be nice. What fuel injectors do you guys suggest? And do I need to clean the holes where the injectors sit in as the injectors were rusting in the hole/seat by the looks of it. And how would I clean them without dropping all the gunk into the cillinders.
