The problem is that the will light some areas of the lense better then others and it didn't look right at all. To make the leds bright they put 4-5 on one unit and each individual led has a very narrow focus area that lighte up only a small portion of the light. You end up wit 5 bright spots and can see areas inbetween that are darker. I am going to go hit a salvage yard today or tomorrow to see if I can find some lenses to modify with led strips, and door panels to start modifying to fit my 9" woofers in them.
