Request: Led Tailight Bulb Pics

I really want to get LEDs tailight bulbs for my Black 98 v6. Bu theres so many kinds and i want the dot light effect.
Can you guys post pics and the type of tailight bulb you used for me to make my decision? Thanx in advance. :snorting:

I bought some and tried them out but actually didn't like the look they gave as it was bright in some spots and dark in others. I returned them for standard lights the next day.

Now that u mention that ive seen led tailights and their bright a*s hell. So what ive thought is if i smoke the stock tailights and add led bulb. Or better yet a RED led bulb(so it can shine right through the smoke. It will look normal led red when lit but when turned off it will look stock smoked. What do you think?

I have my lenses smoked as well. The problem is that the will light some areas of the lense better then others and it didn't look right at all. To make the leds bright they put 4-5 on one unit and each individual led has a very narrow focus area that lighte up only a small portion of the light. You end up wit 5 bright spots and can see areas inbetween that are darker.

I am going to go hit a salvage yard today or tomorrow to see if I can find some lenses to modify with led strips, and door panels to start modifying to fit my 9" woofers in them. I will post progress on both as I make it.

Same here. I got the ones where ther leds (i think there were 7 leds per bulb) just left a solid small beam of light in the middle of each tail light. i returned mine and didnt like them
