i want to get a tune this summer, hopefully to help my car run a little better. the shop i want to use uses an SCT chip that i believe can store up to 4 tunes. currently, i have a stroker kit, E cam, and twisted wedge heads. i want to get an intake/MAF/bigger injectors but i probably wont have the money for that for awhile, especially if i get it tuned this summer. if i get it tuned now and then add an intake later on, will that be enough to throw the tune off and need a new one?

as for bigger MAF/injectors, im assuming ill definitely have to re-tune after that?

i just dont want to spend the $100 an hour getting it tuned and then have to go back and do it again after adding an intake or something.

I changed my cam, intake, and went to long tubes without changing the tune and my car seems to run just fine. That said, I have no idea where my air/fuel ratio is or if the tune is "optimized" for my new combo. I also have not tried WOT because I just put my reringed and rehoned 347 back in and only have 300 miles on it. If you want your tune to be perfect, then wait to get the tune until you have installed all of the parts. JMO.

No need to right now.

Just like they told you on MW.

Worry about a tune when you swap the injectors and MAF. Ditch street stuff and go to Bob Kurgan or Rick Anderson. :coolsmiley:
