Man, seems like nobody can take a little harrassment anymore??? LOL!!!!
I was just trying to make a point that it is usless to have them on ALL THE TIME!!! Like those of you who drive around with them on during the day, i mean, COME ON NOW!
As for not living in the city, neither do I. I own a trucking company, and drive all over the US. I mainly work in chicago now, and they ALL use the driving lights all the time. It really bothers peoples eyes, mainly truckers. One day, you need to go for a ride in a semi and see for yourself. If you are going to drive with them on, at least ake sure they are adjusted properly. It's really bad when your aux lights aim higher than your reg lights.
Yes we do, the windows are ALWAYS clean, in-fact I make my trucks go twice a week to the truck wash. Here in Indiana they use Liquid Salt Brine which believe it or not, will eat thru alumnium, and seeing how the fuel tanks are alumnium, I make sure they get washed 2 times a week.
That being said, I have never had a problem with a mustang's fog's ever, it's mainly the newer Silverados and the Dodge Rams ( I have a Ram) they both have aux. light outputs of over 100watts, and on the silverado, the fogs are the same size as the headlights..... it just kills me, and as being a truck driver, by law we are suposed to look into our mirros every 3-5 seconds (hardly ever do it that often unless I got a Wide Load on) so it is just a PITA!!! Plus all my guys including me drive at night so it's really bad. I guess it's really a pet-peeve of mine thats all........ hell, I even removed the fog lights from all my trucks and put LED turns in there spot because I knew if they were in there, my guys would run them. LOL!!!!!
I'm sorry if I came off as a dick, but it's just something I wish more people would understand, that and the turning on your high-beams on the highway.... just because there is a median, it still f*cks wioth our vision comming the opposite direction.
LOL hell, thats all you had to say :dunno:
mine are adjusted for functionality but i have to admit i run them during the day. actually if you read any drivers manual (or in my case go to SEVERAL "safe" driving classes for the job i had) you'd see that its a good thing to run your lights during the day. it makes you more visible and with the number of cars on the road these days, that sure cant hurt!
on the same note: i have a question for you... do you and your drivers clean your windows well and often? if not, doing so would cut down on glare from oncoming traffic. ive spent a lot of time on the road in my lifetime and am ANAL about my glass!
