Like new edge Cobra vs SN? Or 03/04 vs anything older?

The Cobra uses 38mm pistons (94-98) and 40mm pistons (99-04)
Now is this a noticeable difference? I have no idea but Id be willing to bet you couldnt tell the difference if you didnt know.
What size wheels are to stuffing this into?
