It is actually the 'floor' in areas, but the goal is to make it strong incase your roll cage ever gets used for the intended roll or accident. A good cage shop will do a 6 point cage, 2 points close to the rear shock towers, 2 at the b-pillar (behind front seats), and 2 at the floor just below your dash. Each mounting point will have larger plates welded to the pick up points, and the cage tubes will be welded to the plates. It won't go through the 'floor'. Make sense?</p></blockquote><p></p>
