what temp stat do you have, if you have too low of one it will constantly run the hot coolant through the motor, or try putting a 180 in if you have the stock one, do you have the timing advanced, sometimes that will make a motor run a little warm, or maybe the water pump might be dieing out

Try changing the therm. like posted above, also you could run a manual fan switch so you can turn the fan on whenever you want its a common thing people do and helps. Also flush your system if it has been a while and add water wetter.

It will run cooler with more water. Try not to do the fan switch because it is just a bandaid for something else. I would drain the system and flush it with some of the Prestone flush stuff. If you live in a place where it does not get much colder than like 20 in the winter than I would do like 25% coolant and 75% water and add water wetter. Replace the Thermostat with a 180*. Hit up autozone and get the loan a tool pressure tester and just double check that too while your at it.

mine ran around 210 at the max...the fan switch is nice..but like said above..its just a bandaid ...its nice for those who go to the track and can cool there stuff off...thermostats go bad....most of the time its that....by runing warm....where at on your guage does the needle point what letter on the normal scale if you will or if higher...?
