Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 940223" data-attributes="member: 11896"><p>the thickness part is what occured to me would look strange especially with the two mounting arms that extend down..  Basically what I think I would do is cut the front edge of the spoiler off(including the mounting arms) up to about half way up the top of it.  I would then fill that space with fiberglass so that rather then a lip on the front of it, it would just gradually slope down into the trunk lid to where it would look like part of  the lid.  Ideally I would want to make it hard to tell where the lid ends and the spoiler begins but with the slope down that might be harder to.  The back end of that spoiler doesn't hang out all that far, I think with the gradual slope down that I will make and the sides still hanging off edge would look pretty cool.  Worst cas scenario I will need to go to the junkyard and get a new trunklid and eat the $$$ on the spoiler if it doesn't look good.</p></blockquote><p></p>
