Anyone have a saleen front sway bar on their car?
if its a light blue and fucking fat then i think i do
Its red, but is indeed pretty meaty, my dad picked it up and said it was the thickest sway bar he ever saw. Should be able to take off ramps at 130mph now.
i got some light blue one it was onm my car when i bought it. looks a lot thicker than that red one...
According to saleen mine is 1 3/8" diameter or 34mm, and for comparison, the stock 94 bar is 30mm and is around 60%+ softer than the tublar Saleen bar. The 94 Cobra bar is actually 25mm and weaker than the GT bar. Not sure which company makes a blue one, can you take a picture of it?
never seen a blue one
steeda makes the front swaybar blue, dunno if anyone else does, other companys have either black or red
Yea, but not light blue, the ones I have seen by them are dark blue.
you got me there then
Probably custom powder coated, thats my guess.
nope dont think it is. i will take a pic tomoro
where is that pic?
fuck, dad's gf took the camera for a couple days, you guys are gonna have to wait
Getting back to my origional question, does anyone have a saleen anit sway bar on their car?
Ok, installed the bar yesterday, and holy mother of jasephine, that thing is amazing! Before I could do 10 above the suggested posted speed for turns, now I can do nearly double that limit. I took a 25 mph off ramp at 45 yesterday, and I wasn't even pushing it. Its a whole new car and well worth the extra few pounds and the $75 I spent. I highly recommend to all of you that you get one if the opportunity arises. It is definetly worth it.
i had a saleen sway bar but i took it off so i could launch a lot harder
Yea, right now the cars a street car though, so i'm loving the improved handling.
